Six of the most eligible singletons over fifty in the country have been unveiled.
The finalists were compiled from a long list of more than 250,000 mature singles who joined over 50s dating app Lumen since it launched last September.
Among the popular group, who receive up to six times the number of visits than the average users, are a female model, a teacher who speaks three languages and a male yoga instructor.
All six singletons, who are aged between 50 and 60, receive 275 per cent more profiles views and 280 per cent more messages than the average user.
Analysing what made them more popular than other hopefuls, Charly Lester, Co-founder and CMO of Lumen, said: 'All of our most eligible singles have full profiles with as much information as possible, so it's likely that people feel more confident sparking up a conversation with them and identifying mutual interests upfront.
'As well as this, all of them have a range of photos on their profiles and we know that this also boosts performance and reduces the chance of any surprises.
'Most importantly though, all of them are extremely honest in their profiles about their interests, hobbies and what they're looking for. This means that they end up attracting people that are more compatible as a result, which then sparks deeper engagement.'
